Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Shalom, the God of Peace. The One who quiets our storms; heals our infirmities and brings light into the darkness. No matter the circumstance, you freely offer us your peace, and we say, thank you. In this world we are taught to strive for peace, but you say, “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) Please help us recognize when we are striving for peace and instead choose to be still and receive your peace.
Father, although we are not of this world, we live in it and see hatred, heartache and hopelessness all around us. As your ambassadors we desire to sow peace wherever we go. We pray for wisdom and humility to lead peaceful lives and most importantly spread peace to others.
In Jesus Name,
